coffee corner

Not easy to find a bar for a quick espresso on the terrace in these countries ... We had found one at Sherbrook, with terrace, but no espresso just mugs with long coffee. Since I do not think I have crossed often, yet it spends almost every day before. We have not even thought there is someone who gave us the tip.
Thus we discovered the Tim Hortons, which resembles in every way to a MacDonald with his "drive through". And one morning, it was decided to try it, no no, not the drive! You come in, you're getting as fastfood with the menu screens above the cash, you take your tray with coffee or tea (small, medium or large format in paper cups with lids) more types of pastries donuts. At the end, you rid the trash.
Well, it is far from Pont de Vence's coffee with its pergolla very green in summer.
We'll try to pass on the stroke of noon one day and ask for a Ricard drive to see ...

PS: It seems that approaching Quebec, cafes make less rare, and finally is in the old Quebec, which we were able to enjoy a real espresso in china cups on a terassse with greenery . This one is deserved !

a break on the island of Orleans

Saturday, 31 July 2010

It's under the rain we arrive to Quebec, after 4 days against the wind and against the clock not to miss the mother of Jean-Roch coming specially to see us from Grenoble.

For those who did not follow before, we "landed" in Quebec to Riviere du Loup and we cover 300 km in one day, thanks to Andre Campbellton.
