Sherbrook Village

The village

After a day of pedaling in the sun, we arrived at Sherbrook, a village located on the map for his campsite.
To our surprise we were expected by a family of cyclovoyageurs. Gilles previously met on the road, being much faster than us (must be done on purpose to go gently!) Had peddled the news that our convoy in the village go through there.
We talked a good time with all the pastor's corner (I guess) approached to participate, all in French! The other family and her two children came from Gaspe. Sherbrook seemed different from other villages along the route so far, with its unique busy street. We took the time the morning after landing. Coffee HQ (You pay yourself a coffee and pours it until the coffee is finished), the girls went and stood on the steps of the library for the wifi a few races to the supermarket, we took Post to alleviate Julie 12kg660 (bicycle saddlebags). The street seemed straight out of the conquest of the West (although here it is East-East) with the bank, a saloon, cafe, gas station, the hotel restaurant, supermarket, post office and even ... undertaker after death. Genre Lucky Luke, what, or the little house on the prairie it depends references.
In short, we particularly appreciated this morning stroll there.

Wild camping

It Sherbrook village we left the area to the east of our journey towards West 4 Road.
From there, the landscape and vegetation are completely transformed. Forests are now larger leaves with maples and pines still. Little by little pieces of "maquis" appear (without heat and the cicadas), and cultivated fields. We are in the country with its large farms or parks with horses.
We test the camping beside a lake, hoping not to be thrown before dawn, and again the nature campsite where we saw a fawn and heard several times in the night an animal "attack" a bags of food. Result the bag is no longer tight, I need to fill.
Last day before reaching the Prince Edward Island, Canada's new province.
