Thursday it's Mioche and Belogne

End of a day that would not stop. We finally found a campsite in Pokemouche, after a fifty km in a terrible heat. This time it's a luxury camping and a little expensive, but it is punctured and we did not want to cook. Luckily, here they serve dinner at the canteen (snack), today is Thursday and it is mioche and belogne, Acadian dish as the manager's campsite. A bit on our guard, not having understood what it was, we order a single plate in addition to a family poutine (that's québéquois).
We find ourselves alone in the room, apparently the dinner on Thursday was uninspiring. Suddenly everyone's attention is for us, they were intrigued by arriving with our bicycles and our flag and in turn we questioned the manager and gives us a double portion, cakes and ice creams.
Lets's speak about this famous dish. Mioche is composed of mashed potatoes, turnips, onions, bacon, served with dumplings, and Belogne is a very large sausage served in thin slices. Not a crumb remained not everything has been scraped and licked, the dinner was (almost) unanimous! Be aware that it cycl'aubertein pedal and it eats.
And for those who want to know everything, poutine is a dish of fried with pieces of cheese, topped with a sauce. Not bad at all, and not balanced at all.
Our VIP supervisory status has allowed children to access the trampoline before the time the next day so they can enjoy it before leaving.
After farewells to the team, we continue our journey northward.
